CAN-D Electrification Systems Ltd. was founded in 1985, providing Insulated Conductor Bar Systems, and Festoon Cable Systems to the Material Handling Industry across Canada. Since then, CAN-D has experienced great success expanding its market to the US and abroad. With more clients to serve, CAN-D now has more products to offer. Our product offering has grown to include: Pendant Push Button
Stations, Electric Contactor and AFD Control Panels, Industrial Radio Controls, Load Cells, Electronic Load Limiters, "Black Box" systems for monitoring crane activity, Crane & Hoist Weighing Systems, and Digital Displays.
Our team at CAN-D has complete confidence in the quality and performance of our products. We have divided our product offerings into 3 product
divisions. They are Electrification Division, the Motor Control
Division and the Crane & Hoist Safety Products Division. The Electrification division offers a wide range of products including CSA certified Universal 8-Bar and Inverted V-Bar insulated conductor bar systems. Festoon Cable Systems components, Push Button Pendant Stations, plus Round and Flat Multi-conductor Cables.
Keeping abreast with cutting edge technology, the Controls division includes state of the art Radio Remote controls, Soft Start controls, Adjustable Frequency Drives, Line Load Reactors, and custom Electric Control Panels.
Our newest division, the Crane and Hoist Safety Products division offers Load Cells, Load Limiters, Digital Displays and Weighing Systems allowing the crane operators data feedback from the hook. The crane "Black Box" systems will record the activity of the crane in real time providing valuable information for scheduling mainenance or calculate the "SWP" Safe Working Period of the equipment.

Summary of Products and Applications
CAN-D-BAR® Insulated Conductor Bar
Our CAN-D-BAR® Insulated conductor bar systems will stand the test of time. Manufactured from galvanized steel or electrolytic copper, these systems are amply sized and proportioned to carry the specified current without overheating. The internal joint connectors assure full current carrying capacity without interfering with the free travel of the sliding collector contact shoes. Our conductor systems have been certified to Canadian and US standards by the Canadian Standards Association.
CAN-D-FLEX® Festoon Cable Systems
Our CAN-D-FLEX® Festoon Cable Systems are designed to provide power and control to mobile equipment which has a reciprocal motion. In the past, festoon systems were used solely in material handling applications for overhead cranes and hoists. However, in recent years they have been adapted to provide power to other types of material handling equipment such as Monorails, Jib and Gantry cranes, Plating and Cleaning Lines, and Theatrical Stages, to mention a few. Pushbutton Pendant Stations
CAN-D Electrification Systems Ltd. offers a choice of pendant push button station in styles and configurations that will fit your application and your pocket book. All have an extensive history of reliability and performance. Chances are, we have a pendant station for you.
Flat Cable
CAN-D Electrification System’s flat cable is specifically designed for festooning applications, to absolutely minimize bending stress, which is the primary cause of conductor failure. All conductors are totally enclosed in a tough, flexible, bright yellow PVC jacket. There are no moving contacts, no exposed live metal surfaces, and no ungrounded metal parts.
Round Cable
This special multi-conductor round cable is intended for use in festoon systems, or as a vertical drop cable from a crane or hoist down to a pendant pushbutton station. All the conductors are coated with a clear Mylar film, which allows the conductors to slide within the PVC jacket. Our round pendant cable is coated with a yellow PVC jacket, which has excellent resistance to sunlight, weather, ozone, oil and water. Available with or without strain relief cables.
Controls
Our Controls division offers top of the line technology in Radio Remote controls, Soft Start controls, Adjustable Frequency Drives, Line Load Reactors, and Electric Control Panels.
